Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in Adolescents: Which MR Imaging–based Diagnostic Criteria?

The results of this pilot study show that the most accurate and reproducible MR imaging–based diagnostic criterion for polycystic ovary syndrome in adolescents is an ovarian volume greater than 10 cm3; the number follicles 9 mm or smaller per ovary and their peripheral distribution are accurate but less reproducible criteria.
