Estudo físico-químico, fitoquímico e atividades biológicas do extrato do fruto maduro de (Brosimum gaudichaudii Tréc.) (Moraceae)

The objective of the work was to evaluate the physical-chemical, phytochemical and biological activities of the extract of the ripe fruit of Brosimum gaudichaudii. The fruits were collected, and the hydroethanolic extract produced by maceration. Evaluations were carried out for organoleptic characteristics, yield, dry mass, moisture content, pH, vitamin C, scan between 900-400 nm, qualitative phytochemistry, photoprotection between 400-200 nm, cytotoxicity on Artemia salina in different concentrations of extract and antifungal activity on the genus Candida. The results obtained were clear, yellow and aromatic liquid, yield of 19.54%, dry mass of 11.08%, moisture content of 88.92%, pH of 5.62, vitamin C content of 3.70 mg 100 g-1, relative density 0.95 g mL-1 at 20 °C. Several phytochemical classes showed positivity in the hydroethanolic extract, as well as UVC photoprotective action, bioactivity on A. salina with lethal concentration CL50 2.51 µg mL-1, and high antifungal efficiency on Candida albicans between 33.8-1.5 mm, C krusei between 30.1-8.9 mm, C. guilliermondii between 21.7-4.6 mm and C. tropicalis between 9.7-5.1 between concentrations 500-3.90 mg mL-1. The hydroethanolic extract of the ripe fruit of Brosimum gaudichaudii demonstrated important results in this study, suggesting that further studies should be carried out evaluating other biological activities on the hydroethanolic extract.
