Spatial Difference in Agro-ecosystem on County Scale Based on Emergy Analysis——A Case Study on Fujian Province

2008
In order to fundamentally understand the spatial difference in the operating efficiency of regional interior ecosystem network and the development potential,by using EMA(Emergy Analysis) method and takes county scale unit agro-ecosystem in Fujian as the research object,4 levels of 13 emergy indicators for the agro-ecological economic system were established, and using principle component analysis major emergy evaluation indices were selerted. Some indexes and certain ranks were created for the development of the agro-ecosystem at deferent levels according to the 67 county(or city) samples of the province by GIS technology. The result showed that: there is a clear special difference of agricultural development between coastal and inland areas;low-lying coastal counties(or cities) have absolute advantages in the agricultural economic development level and farmers' living standards, but these advantages have a very weak sustainable ability. Some poor mountainous counties(or cites) have obvious regional comparative advantages in agriculture natural environment condition and sustainable development capacity. The analysis result provides quantitative bases objectively for agricultural managements and decisions at all ranks, and has the practical significance for regional industry layout and sustainable development strategy.
