Recycling, handling and disposal of waste biscuit materials

Abstract: Despite good management of quality and process control, it is inevitable that there will be waste of resources during any production run. The amount of waste and its cost will vary and this makes efficient management of waste more difficult. Clearly the best way to maximise the profit from a manufacturing operation is to reduce the waste to minimum levels. Thereafter there must be well-considered and planned procedures for handling and disposing of waste materials.
