Using autologous hamstring tendons and rigidfix for anterior cruciate ligament rupture by arthroscopy

2011
Objective To analyze the features and clinical effect of use autologous hamstring tendons and rigidfix to reconstruct the disrupted anterior cruciate ligament by arthroscopy. Methods 21 patients with anterior cruciate ligament ruptures were repaired by using four-strand autologous hamstring tendons, double adsorbable Rigidfix absorbable interferences screws by arthroscopy.Lysholm score was used for the patients. Results 20 cases were followed up for 12~36(15±2.3) months.According to Lysholm score,13 cases were excellent,5 good, and 2 fair. The Lysholm score improved from 43~65(51.2±1.75) points to after operation 75 ~ 98(89.7±1.7) points. Conclusions Surgical repair of anterior cruciate ligament by arthroscopy by using autologous hamstring tendons and rigidfix has the features of effectiveness, minimally invasion, and quick recovery.
