Distributed band elimination filters for real-time spectrum analyzer

This paper discusses on distributed band elimination filters (D-BEFs) for real-time spectrum analyzer. The D-BEF is composed of single-sided or double-sided open stubs with different length and strong electric fields are induced at the edge of specific stubs corresponding to input frequencies. Basic ideas are introduced and experimental verification from DC to 6 GHz is carried out successfully.
