CONDITIONS FOR THE FORMATION OF DOMESTIC WASTEWATER ENTERING THE CENTRALIZED SEWAGE NETWORKS OF SETTLEMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

The water sewerage system of settlements in the Republic of Belarus was formed mainly in the period of the 60-80s and it is a complex of water economy structures, designed for receiving, discharging, treating domestic and industrial wastewater from consumers and subscribers of a settlement with subsequent discharge into the environment. Most of the treatment plants in settlements, for technical and economic reasons do not provide the required efficiency of wastewater treatment before discharge into the environment. The publication considers the conditions for the formation of domestic wastewater in modern conditions and the problems arising in accounting the volume of domestic and industrial wastewater and monitoring their quality composition
