Research on Setting Methods of Parameters Related to Virtual Inertia Control Strategy of Wind Turbines

The rational use of the rotor kinetic energy of wind turbines is of great significance to the improvement of the frequency dynamic characteristics of high-scale wind power systems. First, the influence of the frequency response characteristics of the system after the grid connection of the wind turbines not participating in the primary frequency modulation is analyzed. For the problem of secondary power shock disturbance caused by the frequency additional control link when the wind turbine is not backed up, a parameter setting method for additional frequency control with minimum frequency drop in the whole process as the target is proposed. Based on the actual power grid in East China, a set of optimal parameters for additional frequency control of wind turbines is given.
