The results of research conducted indicate that the general increase of infection promoted an increase of the number of districts with medium and high levels of endemity and the number of unendemic or low endemic districts decreased. The author suggests a differentiated complex of measures to prevent the Opisthorhis infection on the territory of the Orenburg region which is based on the region zoning according to the level of endemity, the nidus character and on account of social and environmental factors determining the epidemic process.
