INFLUENCE OF MODEL SCALE ON THE RESISTANCE TESTS RESULTS IN RESTRICTED WATERS

Resistance tests of a series of geosim models of river vessel have been carried out at BSHC. The aim of the investigations was to obtain more comprehensive information for the water depth influence on resistance, its components, and the opportunity of applying three-dimensional extrapolator for correlation of model to full scale for shallow water. The total resistance and its component were investigated.
