Comparative Analysis on Characteristic of Infectious Disease between Registered and Floating Population during 2005-2008 in Chashan town of Dongguan city

Objective To analyze the present situation of infectious disease between registered population and floating population in Chashan town,and to provide the scientific evidence for establishing the strategies and measures for infectious disease prevention and control.Methods The data of infectious diseases in Chashan town during 2005-2008 was Statistically analyzed.Results Total 13 kinds and 1 248 infectious disease were reported in registered population,The average incidence rate was 717.03/100 000,21 kinds and 2 723 infectious disease were reported in floating population,average incidence rate was 547.67/100 000.The incidence rates of virus hepatitis,other infectious diarrhea,and phthisic between two populations were at high level.The proportions of haematogenous infectious disease,STD,and respiratory infectious disease in registered population were higher than others,accounted for 36.94% and 35.42%,the proportions of Intestinal infectious diseases in floating population was higher than others,accounted for 43.47%.Conclusion The incidence rates between two populations were both at high level and escalating trend,because of lacking the knowledge of disease control and treatment,the infectious disease management to floating population has became a important problem in infectious disease prevention and control in Chashan town,it should intensify the infectious disease management and dimension of prevention and control to floating population.
