The existing mixers are designed, as a rule, for adding of the controllable components in the amount of 10-20%, therefore by the addition into the mix of microadditives, premixes or medical products (0.5-2.0%) it is not always possible to obtain the appropriate quality of the mixes. In that regard the addition of small doses of microcomponents, medicinal preparations and time-sensitive vitamins is especially topical. The addition of the above-mentioned components is rather powerconsuming, requires specific equipment, and step-wise mixing. Therefore, the research purpose is the quality improvement of mixing dry microadditives and the substantiation of the design and technological features of the mixer. The research methodology included the system and structural analysis and synthesis, numerical studies and mathematical statistics. Theoretical research used the essentials, laws and methods of classical mechanics, mathematics, the theory multiple-factor planning and hydrodynamics. The analysis defined the following research objectives: 1. Development of prospective design-technological scheme of microadditives mixer. 2. Analytical revelation of the regularities of the mixer's design-kinematic parameters effect on the basic performance parameter; specification of the factors and criteria values. The following was revealed theoretically: the resisting force to the horizontal blade movement relating to the moved material, the minimum height of the mixing tank and the number of blades, and the power consumption and the mixing duration of the mix portions. The effect of the design-kinematic parameters by material mixing on the drive's power is revealed analytically. That enables making a blade mixer for microelement mixes preparation for individual peasant farms.
