This article analyses the phenomena of aggressive journalism, derives proper definition of this term and defines its distinctive features. Russian and foreign examples of different historical periods demonstrate the role of aggressive journalism as an important element of information wars. This article also investigates the potential of this journalism form along with its resources and increasing influence.
