CNS lymphoma masquerading as hemorrhagic stroke.

Primary CNS lymphoma may present in protean ways, which ay mislead even the savviest clinician. We report such a case of NS lymphoma that mimicked a hemorrhagic stroke. The prompt dentification and treatment of this condition utilizing MRI and terotactic brain biopsy played an important role in the subsequent anagement and remission. The following case report illustrates ow, in the early investigation of a patient presenting with abrupt nset of hemiplegia and a contralateral 3rd cranial nerve palsy signs often attributed to an inferiomedial brainstem vascular esion), consideration of a possible brain tumor must be a major oncern [1]. This was born out by subsequent MR imaging and rain biopsy. Primary CNS lymphoma is quite capable of mimicking troke.
