Benzene-free ultra-high-solid-content alkyd resin and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses benzene-free ultra-high-solid-content alkyd resin and a preparation method thereof. The alkyd resin is mainly prepared from the following components in percentage by mass through copolymerization: 36%-41% of vegetable oil, 12%-15% of dipentaerythritol, 1%-3% of trimethylolpropane, 0.02%-0.04% of an alcoholysis catalyst, 3%-5% of dimethylolpropionic acid, 15%-19% of phthalic anhydride, 2%-4% of rosin, 2%-3% of petroleum resin, 12%-14% of 200# solvent oil and 2%-4% of dimethyl carbonate. The benzene-free ultra-high-solid-content alkyd resin with a solid content 80% or above is synthesized by selecting reasonable component raw materials and proportion through an alcoholysis method, does not contain a benzene solvent, has relatively low VOC content and can be used for preparing environment-friendly alkyd resin coats, and the environmental pollution caused by the alkyd resin coats is effectively reduced.
