MOFs derived ultrasmall CoSe2 nanoparticles encapsulated by N-doped carbon matrix and their superior lithium/sodium storage properties

Ultrasmall CoSe2 nanoparticles encapsulated by N-doped carbon matrix were prepared by selenizing the novel Co-metal organic frameworks precursor. The excellent electrochemical performance can be owing to the synergistic effect of N-doped carbon matrix and ultrasmall CoSe2.
