The present invention discloses a method for extracting acoustic optical spectrum analyzer transient signal parameters, 1) through the incident acoustic-optical deflector is driven by an electric signal under test, one-dimensional spot on the back focal plane of the lens distribution line image sensor by scanning the serial frame read spot distribution, the output data represents the spot intensity value; 2) multi-frame data of the scan will form a plurality of rows forming a matrix array of a chronological; 3) the frequency of the signal to any matrix a j values corresponding to the point f = + j * δf, the point f0 epoch time t = t0 + iT; 4) for each of the data matrix a for i and j Aij frequency function a (t, f) when the two-dimensional correlation operation i.e. the measured signal to establish a transient. The present invention extends the acousto-optic spectrum analyzer function identification information of the signal transients, simple operation and a small data amount of data, multi-component signal detection precision, there is no interference cross-term.
