Study of structured P2P resource search algorithm and its application in the future optical network

One of the key challenges that confronts the future optical network is energy saving.Meanwhile,because of its scalability,robustness,load balancing and efficient lookup,the DHT based P2P resource searching algorithms are more suitable resource search technology for the future optical network which is characterized by cloud computing,internet of things and mobile internet.Firstly,we analyze the characteristics of structured P2P resource search algorithm.Secondly,the energy saving effects of these algorithms for the future optical network are stated.Thirdly,a quick resource search de-sign approach in the identifier and location split future network is put forward.Lastly,we discuss the challenges to the ap-plication of these algorithms in the future optical network.
