Umweltbelastungen des niedersächsischen Wattenmeers

1996
The tidal flats of Lower Saxonia are characterized by a diversification of morphological, hydrographic, sedimentary and meteorological conditions. Herein are held many spatial and temporal variations of biological components. Therefore, many effects of human activities remain unrecognized. However, there is first evidence of alarming changes in density and occurrence of biological components as well as in seasonal dynamics of certain chemical parameters. Some variations can be associated with over-eutrophication, pollution and local impacts on the environment.
