Meningiomas Múltiplos: Relato de caso e revisão da literatura
2012
Multiple meningiomas is a condition in which there are two or more meningiomas in different intracranial locations in the same patient in the absence of neurofibromatosis. They can occur simultaneously or in different times. A case of multiple meningiomas in a 56 years old male is presented. Multiple meningiomas do not differ from the solitary ones regarding clinical, pathological or surgical features, but its pathogenesis is unique. Pathogenic factors related to multiple meningiomas in literature reports are discussed.
