This invention discloses a novel meta-material having a high power microwave source, it belongs to the electronic technology, the field of particle physics and the accelerator vacuum. The invention comprises: a cathode slow-wave structure, which are located coaxially with the coupling means and the energy output waveguide collector assembly across the slow wave structure. The present invention relates to a slow-wave structure is much smaller than the size of the rectangular waveguide the same frequency, to achieve the miniaturization of the device, thus easily integrated with semiconductor devices; energy output waveguide coupled coaxially proposed having good over a wide frequency band the low reflectance and transmission characteristics, to ensure the efficient coupling of the output signal; Further, the advantage of the novel microwave radiation having a high power output, pulse power up to the order of megawatts.
