Method for preparing carbon aerogel

The invention discloses a method for preparing carbon aerogel, and belongs to the technical field of carbon aerogel. The method comprises the following processes of: preparing an amphipathic carbon material by using one of coal pitch, petroleum pitch, meso-phase pitch, petroleum coke, needle coke and pitch coke as a precursor, dispersing the amphipathic carbon material into ethylenediamine, mixing the solution and acetone, performing cross-linking spheroidization of the amphipathic carbon material, continuously stirring, and centrifuging to obtain solid wet gel; drying the wet gel under normal pressure to obtain aerogel; and carbonizing the aerogel in a N2 or Ar atmosphere, and thus obtaining the carbon aerogel with the carbon particle diameter of 30 to 150 nanometers. The method has the advantages that the raw material is the amphipathic carbon material, and the precursor for preparing the amphipathic carbon material is wide in source and low in cost; because normal pressure drying is used in the drying process, the equipment cost is reduced; and the preparation period of the carbon aerogel is short.
