The amphiphilic block copolymer, a method for producing a polymer electrolyte membrane and use thereof

The present invention provides an amphiphilic block copolymers, methods of making and using a fuel cell membrane thereof. According to a preferred embodiment, the amphiphilic block copolymer may contain a poly (arylene ether ketone sulfones) (PSEK) as the hydrophilic component and the hydrophobic component as poly (sulfonated styrene - acrylonitrile copolymers thereof) (PSSAN). According to other preferred embodiments, the use of the amphiphilic block copolymer of a polymer electrolyte membrane having a particular advantage that even at high temperatures above 100 deg.] C, the hydrogen ion conductivity does not decrease but rather increased, and the heat excellent chemical stability and size.
