Objective: The primary objective is to assess changes in physical activity in relation to BMI of Mexican origin children in Central Valley. Description: Accelerometer technology is used to assess child physical activity changes during the first two intervention years. Evaluation: BMI changes over two intervention years are examined against changes in daily physical activity, including energy expenditure, steps, time in five intensity zones. Conclusions and Implications: These data evaluate NSFS effectiveness for improving children’s physical activity. Funding: USDA Grant #2011-68001-30167.
