Steam emission control

A method of operating a fuel system is disclosed. The method includes the successive purging fuel vapors from each of several areas of a container. Rinsing involves opening of a portion of an air intake valve, which is connected to this area, and keeping closed the air intake valves associated with the other area in order to direct the fuel vapor to at least one flushing outlet.
