Population projections of Arunachal Pradesh.

The objective here is to assess the growth rate of Schedule Tribes population in the State. It is to find the causes for the decline of the percentage of ST population and to project the total population - specially the ST population for the next 20 years in the State. The only hypothesis we have laid down is that it is due to increasing presence of Government employees private-sector professionals and their kins from other States are eclipsing the indigenous population in the State.
