Fatores escolares como determinantes do desempenho dos alunos da educação básica

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between school factors and student performance in Minas Gerais through a multiple linear regression model in a sample of 820 municipalities. In the theoretical framework, the quality of education and the influence of the school context on student performance were addressed. The results found corroborate the positive influence of teacher education, their satisfactory remuneration, school infrastructure and the reduced number of students per class on student performance. Therefore, policies aimed at improving these elements are crucial, providing better student performance.
