Neonatal pneumonia caused by Branhamella catarrhalis.

A 15-day-old, prematurely born male infant with bronchopneumonia caused by Branhamella catarrhalis is reported. One case of ophthalmia neonatorum was the only report found of B. catarrhalis infections in neonates when the literature was reviewed.
