Contemporary non-echo-planar diffusion-weighted imaging of middle ear cholesteatomas.

Promising new non–echo-planar diffusion-weighted imaging techniques used in the diagnosis of cholesteatoma are presented, with emphasis on their use in screening for residual or recurrent cholesteatoma after middle ear surgery.
