RESUMEN A lo largo de la historia humana, el deseo de innovar y adaptarse al medio, ha sido una constante inherente a las dinamicas sociales. Las organizaciones son parte de la sociedad, y no han estado ajenas a las grandes transformaciones tecnologicas. Es precisamente en la capacidad de innovar, en el ingenio humano y la creatividad, donde subyace la sobrevivencia de las organizaciones. En este sentido, las organizaciones se han ido complejizando a lo largo del tiempo. Como era de suponerse, no es lo mismo una organizacion de inicios del siglo XX que una desarrollada en la “Era Digital”. Por eso es imprescindible comprender que la posibilidad de adaptarse a los cambios es fundamental para que una organizacion sobreviva. En el estudio que se presenta a continuacion, se pretende hacer una aproximacion teorica, producto de una revision biblio-hemerografica. Se tuvo como resultado, la existencia de una incertidumbre sobre el futuro de las organizaciones, sin embargo, lo desconocido puede hacerse ostensible si se aprende a gestionar el conocimiento y la adaptacion a los cambios constantes a nivel organizacional y en los ambitos del quehacer humano. ABSTRACT Throughout history, the desire to innovate and adapt to the environment has been a constant inherent to social dynamics. Organizations are part of society, which has not been unaffected by major technological changes. It is precisely the ability to innovate, human ingenuity, and creativity that underlie the survival of organizations. In this sense, organizations have become more complex throughout time. As expected, an organization from the beginning of the 20th century is not the same as one developed in the “digital age”. Therefore, it is crucial to understand that the ability to adapt to changes is essential for the survival of organizations. This study attempts to make a theoretical approach, as the result of a bibliographical review. As an outcome, the existence of an uncertainty about the future of organizations was identified; however, the unknown can become conspicuous if you learn to manage knowledge and adapt to constant changes at the organizational level and in the areas of human endeavor
