High frequency magnetic properties of multistriped patterned FeCoBSi thin films

2017
Abstract A series of multistripe patterned FeCoBSi thin films were fabricated by DC magnetron sputtering and traditional lithography lift-off technology. A broadened band spectrum was observed attributable to the existence of multiple resonances in accordance with a predictive LLG model. It is assumed that separate resonances are ascribed to the shape anisotropy induced by the different widths of magnetic stripes. Meanwhile, the broadened resonance band, due to the superpositioning of multiple resonance peaks, may pave the way for future applications as wide-band microwave EMI absorbers.
