Una presentación atípica de déficit de B12

espanolPaciente de 62 anos sin patologias de interes que consulta por lesiones dermatologicas que persisten, habiendo sido valorado previamente por Dermatologo. El estudio realizado para descartar patologia organica objetiva como causa de dichas lesiones un de deficit de cianocobalamina o B12 siendo la afectacion en la piel su primera manifestacion. Se completa la evaluacion del paciente con la busqueda de la etiologia del deficit llegando a la conclusion de una gastritis atrofica como causa e iniciandose tratamiento con suplementacion vitaminica con resolucion del cuadro. English62 years old patient with other pathologies, which is attended in the Medicine Internal department because of skin lesions which weren´t disappeared and which had been studied by a Dermatologist. The study performed to rule out objective organic pathology as the cause of these lesions was a vitamin B12 or cyanocobalamin deficiency and the effect on the skin was the first manifestation of the illness. After a complete evaluation with the search for the aetiology of the deficit, the conclusion was that atrophic gastritis was the origin of the deficit. Treatment by supplementing with B12 vitamin produced the resolution of the symptoms.
