Russet Norkotah - A New Russet potato Variety

On March 1, 1987, the new potato variety, the Russet Norkotah, was released. It was developed by NDSU. This was the 14th potato variety released by the school. A brief history of this variety's development is given and it's characteristics. This variety is not only being grown in North Dakota, but in other states as well.
