The Reformation of China′s Image

The rise and development of "the rush of Chinese culture" from the 1990s up to the present is linked with the reformation of China′ image.In the process of advocation and revelation,the historical connotation of the Chinese national culture is suspended.It is revealed and embedded in our political and everyday life in a symbolic way.However,while the symbolic value of the Chinese national culture is fulhy employed,China′s image is paradoxically built,and the cultural and political identification is not attained.By observing the political and cultural logic of the rush of Chinese national culture,we could rethink China′s subjectivity in the era of globalization.
