Variable segmentation method for adaptive threshold for obtaining reference values cut cut air imaging studies CT comprising the steps of: acquiring images (D.101) CT, manage images (D.102 ) and postprocess acquired (D.103) acquired images, wherein the step of postprocessing comprises the following steps: obtaining a filtered image (D.30) the CT image by applying a median filter; obtaining a segmented image (D.31) by applying conventional segmentation algorithm; obtaining a threshold value reference air (D.32) a final image for each slice, where the final image is a result of multiplying the pixel by pixel segmented image (9) by the filtered image (8), where the value the reference threshold air (7) is calculated by the equation Umbralaire = {mi} +2 {if}.
