Practice and Innovative Teaching Exploration for the Undergraduate Majored in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation Guanghui Xue School of Mechanical, Electronic and Information Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), Beijing 100083, China Email: xgh@cumtb.edu.cn Abstract By reviewing the history, current status and trends of teaching of measurement and control technology and instrumentation major in China; discussing its discipline connotation, relationship with its related disciplines and the influence to its teaching organization; summarizing the experiences and shortages in the practice and innovative teaching of measurement and control technology and instrumentation major in our university, thereby some suggestions of the further improvement of the practice and innovative teaching of the major are put forward.
