The article deals with the influence of an officer''s personal example on the upbringing of contract servicemen in the units of the Russian Interior Ministry Forces. The meaning of the terms “pedagogical condition”, “method” and “example”, as well as the psycho-pedagogical characteristics of an officer''s personal example for the servicemen are also considered in the article.
