Photoproduction of cumulative protons in Be

Measurements of the invariant cross section and the cross-section asymmetry are reported for the reaction ..gamma../sup 9/Be..-->..pX in the cumulative region in a beam of quasimonochromatic polarized photons. It is shown that the A-dependence of the parameter C is more rapid in the region from /sup 9/Be to /sup 12/C than for nuclei heavier than carbon.
