American plaintiffs' lawyers are a very special breed. This is the story of one of the most special - the man they called the King of Torts, 'Dickie' Scruggs. From nothing in the early 1980s, Scruggs was a billionaire by the time he was gaoled in 2008 for attempting to bribe judges.
