Learning is a relatively lasting change in behavior that results from an individual's experience, and they say that learning is dropped when, as a result of the experience, the individual behave and responds in a way that is different from the previous behavior. In human life, the meaning of learning is reflected in the fact that through it, it can effectively influence the whole structure of human traits and thus cause relatively lasting changes in his personality. Learning styles are a unique way a person learns - her preferred way, but the concept of learning styles is based on the idea that individuals have different attitudes towards learning, so they approach it in different ways. There is a significant difference in learning style preferences between men and women. Most male students prefer multimodal teaching, while most female students prefer one-way instruction. Unlike men, women preferred information to be presented in one way. Although women can use all sensory modes in learning, one way is preferred and dominant. In theoretical part od this study, terms like learning in general, explanation of basic theories, learning styles and factors that affect learning styles and the impact of demographic caracteristics. Empirical research, conducted with anonymus questionnaire on the sample 132 subjects, examined the association of basic demographic characteristics and learning styles, and gave a detailed presentation of the results. The results show that the kinesthetic and visual style is predominant in men, and the least auditory, which is the highest in women. As for the correlation between learning styles and age, no significant differences were found. Regarding the study directions, the results show that the tourism direction and trade and international business is dominated by the visual learning style, the analysis and business planning and management is dominated by the kinesthetic learning style, and the financial direction by the auditory one.
