Method and device for editing video and real time processing

PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for editing video and realtime processing, which generates a clip including data for identifying the scene of the program of video or audio and data for identifying processing operation to be applied to the scene. CONSTITUTION: The device includes an editing controller programmed by a software for generating and modifying the clip and a storing and real time processing subsystem operating under the control of the editing controller. The editing controller supplies a control signal generated from a series of clips for a storing subsystem 1 and a processing subsystem 2. The processing subsystem 2 desirably includes a hardware only for processing the scene (read out from the storing subsystem in response to a control signal from the editing controller) of video data in real time (while video data is read out from the storing subsystem) according to processing data decided by the control signal from the editing controller.
