Grid applications in Urban Management

The traditional methods for urban management cannot satisfy the demand of modern urban management. To this end, lots of national governments are actively looking for solutions; a new model-Gridding Urban Management Model (GUMM) has been put forword. The paper studies theory and technological base of the urban gridding management. As HanDan city for example introduce the overall architecture and work flow of system. The system uses SuperMap IS. NET as WebGIS platform.
