Co-Infection Tuberculose Urinaire, Bilharziose Urinaire et Paludisme sur Rein Unique Fonctionnel

RESUME Nous rapportons l’association  de paludisme, tuberculose et bilharziose urinaire sur un terrain particulier (rein unique) dans le service de nephrologie du CHU du Point G. Il s’agit d’un patient admis pour douleur lombaire et du flanc droit irradiant vers les organes genitaux externes. L’examen a retrouve des signes d’impregnation bacillaire et une cicatrice de lombotomie parietale sur l’abdomen. L’examen parasitologique et bacteriologique des sediments urinaires a mis en evidence Schistosoma haematobium et des bacille acido-alcoolo-resistants. La goutte epaisse est revenue positive. La TDM a montre un rein droit normal, sans rein gauche  et des calcifications bilharziennes de la vessie. Le sujet a ete traite avec succes pour les trois pathologies. ABSTRACT We report the association of malaria, urinary tract tuberculosis and urinary bilharziasis in a patient with single kidney at the nephrology department of the Point G University Hospital.  This patient was admitted for lumbar and right flank pain radiating to the external genitals. Physical examination found signs of bacillary impregnation and a parietal lumbotomy scar on the abdomen. Parasitological and bacteriological examination of the urinary sediment revealed Schistosoma haematobium and acid-fast bacillus. The thick blood film test was positive for malaria. CT scan showed a normal right kidney, no left kidney and schostosomal calcifications of the bladder. The patient was successfully treated the three diseases.
