Upaya Pengelolaan Limbah Bahan Berbahaya dan Beracun (B3) di RSU Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Kota Mojokerto

Hazardous and Toxic Material (B3) waste can be causing of the health protection disruption and the risks of pollution to the environment, so it would be needed to be managed properly and correctly. The purpose of this study is to determine the effortness of the hazardous management and toxic waste (B3) at Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital in the city of Mojokerto. This research is a descriptive research. Data collection is done by checklist, observation, and interview. The object in this study is a service unit at Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital in the city of Mojokerto. The data has been obtained then analyzed using descriptive data analysis techniques by presenting tabulated data and frequency distribution. The result of the efforts B3 waste research management through of planning efforts, organizing efforts, and controlling efforts is very good that is 100%, 85.71%, and 100%, beside than implementation efforts is good that is 76,96%. The overall of effortness in order to manage B3 waste is very good that is 90,68%. It has been recommended to be improved the competence officers of B3 hazardous waste implementing through of educating and training, fulfilling of the facilities according to the standard, e.g. availability of brown waste bag for chemical and ruined medicine, precision of waste storage position, arranging effectively the route and the schedules of waste transportation and the supervision of the cleaning service officers in order to handle B3 waste hazardous and by using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as the standard handling.
