Effects of complexing agents on phase behavior of ionic surfactant solutions
2012
Abstract A model for the complexation of an ionic surfactant with an oppositely charged non-surface active binding counterion is developed. This model is used to explain the variations in the critical micelle concentration and the Krafft and cloud point temperatures as a function of the concentration of the complexing agent.
