Сравнительная оценка разных методов применения клопа Macrolophus nubilis на огурце

Biological efficiency of Macrolophus nubilis H.S. is higher at the preventive application of this predator, than its application into the pestholes. These differences are insignificant and make 3 % when using against melon plant aphids and 5 % when using against whiteflies. But the application rate of the predator released at these two ways differ considerably. If applied into pestholes, application rate is 2,3 times higher than in the case of preventive releases against melon plant aphids and 1,5 times against whiteflies. Therefore, the way of application may influence greatly profitability of the predator application.
