Параметрический анализ лексики балканских языков (квантитативный аспект)

The paper presents the parametric analysis of the Balkan Sprachbund lexis. The research draws upon the data from the Balkan-Russian dictionaries. The «language of culture : language of acculturation» criterion demonstrates the central role of the Greek language and the peripheral role of the Turkish language. The analysis is also aimed at the quantitative assessment of the distance between the large parametric cores of the Balkan languages. The paper presents the lexico-semantic map of the Balkan languages and instantiates the major role of the Albanian language and the backbone role of the Albanian-Romanian-Macedonian triangle for the Balkan Sprachbund.
