Process for the continuous production of staple fiber fabrics of finite length reinforcement fibers with directional fiber orientation

2009
Process for the continuous production of staple fiber fabrics directional fiber orientation, in which the clutches are produced by continuous panel of carded fibrous web under defined deposition angles on a timed conveyor belt. This staple fiber scrims are used for the production of high-strength fiber-reinforced plastic composites, as found in wind turbines, aircraft and automotive industries. In particular, in the direction of stress, these composites have high composite strength and stiffness, including a defined fiber orientation is required. In addition to a defined orientation of the finite fibers, the scrim also have a defined surface mass.
