The Genetic Essence of General Combining Ability——Individual Heretability and its Effect Used in Crops' Genetics and Breeding

The genetic significance of general combining ability(GCA)was analyzed and it was pointed out that the genetic essence of GCA was individual heretability.The effect of individual heretability used in crops' genetics and breeding was explained.
