Radiographic pattern of Spiran W

: Radiograms were performed in order to study the spreading of the Spiran W (the 1st Polish IUD) in the uterine cavity. It is stressed that radiologic examination following IUD insertion serves as an aid for the evaluation of the adequacy of insertion and for clinical control. These observations are part of the complex investigations of the Spiran W application in clinical practice. (author's modified)
